How To Write JAMB CBT Examination, POST – UTME and WAEC With 30 Minutes left Over:

* One thing that should not be overlook, is peace of mind. When writing examination, studies have shown that having a relaxed mind will make you sure and answer the questions fast with accuracy.
* Having written several examination, i discovered that when the invigilators are getting the materials ready for the examination, students discuss around and press their mobile phone. You should not be among these people. I discovered that having a prayer at this crucial time will boost up your confidence and give you a relaxed mind. Let your mind roam around the things you’ve read and don’t force yourself, or you’ll just forget all of them.
* When you first receive your question paper, the first step to take, is to go through the instruction first!
* Please make sure that you shade your data into the answer sheet as neatly as possible, people who mark examination sheets revealed that they always love to mark and even grade students with clean exam sheet.
* Before you start answering the questions, here’s a health tip for you, take up to six deep breaths and breath it out slowly, it might sound funny, but this will allow a very good inflow of oxygen and as well energize your brain for the task at hand.
* You should ensure, that you give the least time to the subject you know best and larger portion of the time to the ones that may be more difficult.

Here is the order Most Students who Scored High IN JAMB Used
Chemistry ====== 35 minutes
Mathematics ==== 40 minutes
Physics ======== 45 minutes
Use of English ==== 60 minutes

180 minutes

USING the above tactics, i have more than 30 minutes free, to do the necessary correction I needed, and even cross checked the ones i Missed.
* You should also start with the questions you know, this will help booster your confident. Answering the questions you know, will let your confidence rise such that the fear of failure will disappear from your body during the examination. You should ensure that when writing examination, avoid been nervous! A Nervous person will make ceaseless mistakes in examinations, but with your self confidence, you will have a cool head and answer all your questions correctly.
* Make sure that you shade into the right portion of the answer script, which is bearing the subject you are tackling at the moment. A sad story had it, that a brilliant student once failed JAMB UTME the very first time he sat the examination, simply because he shaded different subjects in entirely different columns from where they were meant to be.
When he realized the mistake he has done, time was already against him.
* YOU should have a total understanding of each of the questions you read before you go on to answer the question.
* Here’s another important tips that students should NOT overlook, if you had practiced the JAMB past questions, you will agree with me that answers from first impression, are not always the correct answers. That is why you need to have time to go through your answers before the time is up.
The biggest secret of scoring high in JAMB examination, is that students who score high, have read and got a good understanding of the question and as well solve out the correct answers while reading or studying past questions.
Always remember this: Scoring high in your examination is not ALL about shading what you think should be the answer, but shading the correct answers.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Just like i said in the beginning of this article, scoring high in JAMB C.B.T, POSST-Utme, WAEC and other examination does not only dependent on how knowledgeable you are, but the number of questions you are able to shade correctly in the give hours and minutes.
If you’re writing the JAMB examination, you should note that JAMB expects every candidates, to answer each question within a space of 45 seconds. So any question exceeding that is trying to steal your scores instead of adding to it, just leave it alone and answer other questions.
When you are through with answering all other questions, then you can ponder on the questions and give them your best shot.
* You should make sure that you answer all questions! Both the ones you know and the ones you don’t know. Well, there is deduction of marks for wrong answers, so we urge you, to attempt all questions. Just like the adages goes:
‘a shot in the dark is always better than nothing’.
However, if you are sitting for the WASSCE or any other examination, such as POST UTME, and you have another exam the next day, it would really help you, if you don’t discuss the ones you’ve written.
Because, one thing is certain! You can do nothing and you can not change or upgrade your score. It’s better you better for the papers ahead.
Hope this helps you write and score high in your examination!
